Three Great Taste Stars for Ginger Bakers

This year, three of our products have been recognised with Great Taste stars, celebrating the flavour, quality and care that go into every bake we produce.

Our award-winning products are:

⭐ Frangipane Mince Pies

Receiving Great Taste Awards recognition is always special. The awards are judged through a rigorous blind-tasting process, with products assessed purely on flavour, appearance and overall quality. For us, it’s an opportunity to put our baking in front of some of the industry’s most experienced judges and receive honest, constructive feedback.

We’re particularly pleased to see our Earl Grey Citrus Tea Loaf receiving the recognition we believe it deserves. Combining the fragrant notes of Earl Grey tea with bright citrus flavours, it’s a bake that has quietly built a loyal following over the years.

Our Naked Stem Ginger Cake also impressed the judges with its rich flavour and generous use of stem ginger, while our Frangipane Mince Pies continue to demonstrate that traditional favourites can still stand out when made with care and attention to detail.

Of course, while the stars themselves are wonderful to receive, the judges’ comments are equally valuable. It’s always rewarding to hear what people enjoy about our products and to know that the recipes we’ve developed are being recognised at a national level.

As a small bakery, we’re incredibly proud of these achievements with the Great Taste Awards and are so grateful to everyone who supports Ginger Bakers, whether that’s through our bakery shop, online store or wholesale stockists.

We’re already looking ahead to next year and have plenty more products we’d love to put forward for judging.

For now, though, we’re taking a moment to celebrate three much-loved bakes and the recognition they’ve received.
