Hello! Welcome to Ginger Bakers, an award-winning cake supplier based in the beautiful English Lake District. Offering a wide variety of standard, gluten free and vegan cakes that can be delivered directly to your door or cake counter.

We’ve been proudly creating our cakes by hand since 2006, and in true small business style we have gone from kitchen table to a purpose built bakery. We still bake things by hand, in small batches, but now we bake for wholesale and retail, meaning everyone can have a slice of cake.

My mum doesn't like Christmas pudding (she has it cos its traditional an everyone else has it) but she said yours is the only Christmas pudding she's ever enjoyed said it was gorgeous! Resistance is futile when the cakes are as good as the handmade cakes at Ginger Bakers ~ there’s always something new to try and some of the larger cakes have around 3 months shelf life

We went to Rinaldos to buy their award winning Espresso Casa coffee and fancied something sweet to go with it.
So my wife went into the Ginger Bakery and came back with carrot and ginger cake and elder flower and strawberry cake. Wow!! It was amazing.
If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit. The staff are really friendly and helpful

Stop here. Seriously you’ll regret it if you don’t. Literally some of the best English bakes I’ve ever had! We took the ginger cake, which was moist, and really tasty and we took three of the tray bakes - it was super amazing. I also ordered an almond tart and it was just so good. I whisked I took photos of it but it was already gone by the time I realised I hadn’t taken
