Berry & Beetroot Brownie – A bright and vibrant gluten free brownie!

In our bakery in Kendal, we have a little shop where you can pop in and buy your weekly cake supplies. Generally, people love a selection of different cakes, but after a while, we noticed that sometimes people just bought several slices of their favourite cake. We get a lot of tourists too, and they would message us from near and far, to ask if they could buy just a few more slices of the cake they bought on holiday. And so the ‘Six Slices’ boxes came about.

Probably the most eye-catching of all of our traybakes, this brownie has a magenta dusting on the top which is bound to stop you in your tracks! It’s a squidgy brownie packed full of flavour, and one you all love.

Ingredients: Dark Chocolate (29%) (Cocoa Mass, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin; Natural Vanilla Flavouring), Dark Brown Sugar (Sugar, Cane Molasses), Butter (Cream (Milk), Salt), Pasteurised Egg, Gluten Free Flour (Rice Flour, Potato Starch, Tapioca Starch, Maize Flour, Buckwheat Flour), Beetroot (3.5%), Raspberries (2.5%), Vanilla Flavouring, Gluten Free Baking Powder (Raising Agents: Mono Calcium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate; Corn Starch), Stabiliser: Xanthan Gum.

Nutritional Information per 100g: Energy: 1923kj, 460kcal, total fat: 28g, of which saturates: 17g, carbohydrate: 48g, of which sugars: 38g, protein: 5.3g, salt: 0.42g. Adults need around 2000 kcal a day.
